Greetings and salutations! Thank you again for backing the Moglins Kickstarter. Writing you a progress update to keep you in the loop.
Payment stuff is almost done
Kickstarter has been processing payments and helping people who encountered problems. We have been providing as much help as we can-- mostly suggesting people contact their credit card company using the number on the back of their card and then contacting Kickstarter to have them try again. There are only a few days left for backers to fix payment issues or lose their rewards.
We're setting up Backer Kit!
We will be using a service called Backer Kit to fulfill your orders. Its pretty neat! We will use Backer Kit to send a form where you will make your Moglin selections, address, name for the Wall of Moglins, and etc. We will also use Backer Kit to send you your in-game codes early!
I am pleased to let you know that we have all 12 Moglins working on our AdventureQuest 3D development server. They will be the first pets in game... using "Phase 1" of the pets feature. Which means they will be adorable and follow you around. Future updates will expand what things Pets can do. We still need to design and make your 13th exclusive Kickstarter Moglin. It will probably come out a little later.
We had the 12 Moglins for AdventureQuest Worlds drawn before the Kickstarter began. Adding the bank feature is easy-- so as far as the four games go, this game is definitely the furthest along.

The two teams that run these games are extremely excited to be a part of the Moglins project! I do not have an update to show you yet-- but look forward to seeing them in an upcoming news post.

Shiver me timbers Matey! Today be one of me' favorite holidays... an entire day where we be talk'n like the Pirate Moglin, Scurvy...scoundrel of the seven seas. Meanwhilst, me crew be hard at work preparing ye' Moglins-- both the ones ye can touch with yer hook hand, and the in-game ye'll soon be looting.
Special Pirate Events happening in-game
Talking about in-game Moglins, we have our yearly special "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" releases launching across our games. Scurvy the Pirate Moglin is making an appearance in the Pirate Town of Lolosia in our mobile & Steam game AdventureQuest 3D. Buy him a drink and hell tell you a tale... a different tale every time. You are invited to join us as they go live.
Kickstarter is still in the process of processing payments and working with backers to fix issues. Thank you for your amazing patience. We have a little over a week left before that wraps up.
We signed on with BackerKit, which will be helping us fulfill both our physical and digital orders to you. We have been working with our rep to set up a way to get you codes much faster than originally promised. Keep your fingers crossed! Meanwhile, the game teams are working to get the Moglins ready in game (The Pets feature just went live in the latest AdventureQuest 3D Patch)-- and created for the additional two games you unlocked.
Arrrr! So be making the most of this glorious day... Talk Like a Pirate Day only comes 'round once per year.

Congratulations! Thanks to you and all of the other amazing backers... Moglins are officially coming to the real world. We are so grateful to you for making the Moglins Kickstarter a success, thank you, thank you, thank you with the power of a million magic Moglin buffs.
You unlocked bonus rewards with Stretch Goals!
In addition to making Moglins a reality, you also unlocked a ton of bonus stretch goal rewards. The unique codes that come with your Moglins will now unlock in-game pets in 4 of our online video games at Artix.com. You will also unlocked an exclusive Kickstarter Moglin in-game pet. Furthermore, in AdventureQuest Worlds, all of your pets will be "Battle Pets" and allow you to instantly access your bank from anywhere. In the final 24 hours you unlocked the Moglomancer armor for every backer in our newest game, AdventureQuest 3D. Way to go!

If you were wondering about those 2 remaining stretch goals (Moglomancer Class & Shadow Moglin Armor.) then good news! We signed on with BackerKit... in addition to helping us fulfill your order, they will extend the Kickstarter on their site for everyone who requested a Paypal option or wanted a second order. This will help unlock those 2 remaining stretch goals for you!
What's Next?
Kickstarter is now processing payments. It will take about 2 weeks for the funds to clear. Then, we will send you the form to choose your Moglins and provide shipping info on where to send them.

Bonus good news about the codes
Originally, we had planned on mailing your in-game codes along with your Moglins... and then sending them to the digital backers at the same time. But our BackerKit rep told us about a cool feature they provide that may make it possible to get them to you MUCH sooner!

Here we go! We have just entered the final 48 hours of the Moglin Kickstarter and you JUST unlocked a new stretch goal. Additionally, the lead singer of one of my all time favorite bands has a surprise gift for you. Also, you can now watch video of the Live Moglin show that we put on for you.
"No Twilly... I am your Father!" It was creative, crazy, fun and was 100% LIVE! The Live Moglins show will go down in history as one of the most unusual things we have ever done. We really hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting on the show for you.
Surprise! You are getting this song for backing the Moglins Project
Kimberly is the lead Singer of One-Eyed Doll. When she heard we were doing the Live Moglin show she surprised us by writing a song inspired by the Moglins called "We are the small ones". This is pretty much the official Moglin theme song (sounds like an anime opening.) It premiered during the show! Kimberly insisted that everyone backing the Moglin Kickstarter gets the song for free! We will be sending you the song when we deliver your rewards :D

New Stretch Goal Unlocked

The codes that come with your Moglins will now unlock pets in four video games. Take your moglins with you on epic adventures in AdventureQuest 3D, AdventureQuest Worlds, DragonFable, and now the original AdventureQuest too.
