New Moglin Stuff!
Everything you need to know :D
Your Kickstarter exclusive rewards went perma-rare (no one can ever get them again). So we created brand new rewards for those who collect purchase 6 or 12 Moglins from www.HeroMart.com . (Historically speaking, it has NEVER been a bad idea to back a AE Kickstarter-- the rewards just keep on coming.)
Every year we release a new calendar. This year's poster calendar was drawn by Dioz and painted by Dage. The front features the dates of the year. At the end of the year, you can flip it over and decorate your wall with it no matter what the year :D
It is normally $20. But HeroMart started running their Black Friday sale early... buy both of the new armor T-Shirts and you can get the poster calendar for free. Simply add it to your cart.
Not sure how many people this story. I guess you will be one of the few. Way back in 2010 we teamed up with dark and spooky musician Aurelio Voltaire to do our first ever live musical event. Shortly after he asked if we would be interesting in creating figures of his evil teddy bear, Deady. We did were! What a strange and interesting project. We only created 500 of them.
To sell them, we created HeroMart... the official online shop of Artix Entertainment. The vision was to create a website where we could sell weird and unusual game-related things. In the early days I used to put a lot of gag products up (i.e. holy Paladin Toilet paper "To wipe away evil!" or "USB Super Computer Potato") which were either "out of stock" or priced astronomically high.
What made HeroMart really unique, was the things we sold included games which unlocked in-game items. Sure, there were others doing this type of thing. But very few to none of them had the direct contact with the players that we did. So we could change and add things, always improving and making it better. Sorta like how we made these new Moglin rewards and gave them to you. Then, when we heard some people gifted their codes, we scrambled and found a solution-- implementing it in just days!
We were contact by Toys"R"Us (I miss them so much) and worked together to create our Battle Card Game and Action Figures. Every step of the way was a huge learning process. Of course we had prints from our artists, T-Shirts, posters, books, CDs (I even play guitar on one of the songs), art books, and... well, it really did become a place where we experimented making things. Every item has a unique and special history
HeroMart is physically located in a giant room here at our lab. It looks like a store... but there is literally no way for anyone to physically access it. XD We pack and ship orders to players every day.
So that is the story of HeroMart. Creative people... making crazy and creative stuff. Feels like we are still in the early stages of this particular adventure. Thank you for being a part of it-- now, and for the madness that is yet to come!

A new moglin-filled story is going live as I type this. Also needs to be noted that he collaborated with Jongaar on the music. That was a first!
Harvester of Moglins?
Oh yeah... this release took a dark turn O_O Surprisingly dark for Moglins. Apparently Moglins are a great, but not so sustainable source of energy.
I mean... what would you power with Moglins? Harvester Mechs? I dunno. Tell us on Twitter so we can be terrified.
AQWorlds Premiere of the new Moglins!
Because... seriously, who wouldn't want to harvest Cupcake Moglins?
For the first time ever, in this new release, the new Moglins will appear as characters in the game. See Cupcake, Zilla, Nugget, Scourge, Rez... and also some of your favorite original moglins too.
Secret: RedX's AdventureWorlds name is really Doom Regin Doom. So, if you run into him this weekend, be sure to say hi. He's such a good guy. (So good that he asked for all of the monster pets in the release to be 0 AC so all players could get them... pro move!)

Wooohooo! As of yesterday, even those few remaining, tricky, strange, and super complicated Moglin orders have been figured out, packed and shipped. If you are one of the few people who have not completed their survey yet.... *whispers* go to BackerKit and fill out ye survey so we can send yours ASAP!
A Moglin story from my home....
In a previous update post, I said that I was waiting until all orders had been shipped before taking my 12 Moglins home for my children. Today... they opened them :D Aidan (lvl 4), who loves dinosaurs, dragons, and a certain kaiju with a habit of stomping through Tokyo, LOVES the Moglin named Zilla. Mia (lvl 3) is a huge fan of the Moglins Cupcake, Twig, and... surprisingly, Scourge. Sometimes we sing along to the Metalocolypse sound track when driving to school. She likes using "monster voice" when playing with Scourge. Kai (lvl 1) has indiscriminately attempted to eat all of the Moglins. We are not sure which he found most delicious yet. (Note: Moglins not a high source of fiber) But his favorite to play with by far is the box I brought them home in XD It was only an hour or so ago that I was watching my children play together with their Moglins for the first time. It really hit home what we accomplished together. This is something truly special.
